Application

Method of application Recommendations
Diffuser For a tonic effect, use 3-4 drops per day in the diffuser of your choice. Improves concentration, invigorates, relieves apathy. Goes well with citrus fruits, cardamom, cinnamon. Use sparingly (1-2 drops per session), as the aroma can be strong. Use daily or in courses, as needed.
Applying to skin For intestinal discomfort, apply 1-2 drops of oil to the lower abdomen and rub in. For increased skin sensitivity, dilute 1-2 drops in 3-5 drops of fractionated coconut oil (or other carrier oil, 1% concentration). Suitable for massage for muscle and joint pain, anti-cellulite mixtures. Be sure to conduct a sensitivity test due to possible irritation. Apply daily or in courses, as needed.
Cosmetics Rarely used, but can be used in minimal doses in formulas to stimulate blood circulation (anti-cellulite products, scalp care). Not recommended for the face and sensitive skin. Add 0.5-1 drop per 10 ml of base oil.
Sprays Used in invigorating, warming and antiviral room sprays. Pairs well with citrus, cinnamon, and black pepper. Dosage: 1-2 drops per 100 ml of water.
Bath / Inhalation For baths, use 2-3 drops mixed with an emulsifier (salt, honey, milk), helps with muscle pain and colds. May cause burning in sensitive skin. For inhalation during a long car ride, drop 1 drop of ginger into your palms and inhale or use in an aroma pendant. Effective for colds when mixed with eucalyptus or ravintsara.
Cooking For daily health care, gastrointestinal support and relief from nausea, take 1 drop of oil orally in a Veggie Caps vegetable capsule, or in 1 teaspoon of honey, or in 120 ml of drink (soy/rice milk) 1-3 times a day, daily or in courses. To flavor sweet and salty dishes, use 1-5 drops of oil (if food-grade). Warning: Do not take internally by children under 6 years of age.
