Hinoki Essential Oil by doTERRA is a soft, woody, balsamic oil with a light lemony note, steam distilled from the wood of the Japanese cypress tree. Native to pristine regions of North America, Japan, and Taiwan, this evergreen tree is prized for its durable, mold- and rot-resistant wood, as well as for the therapeutic properties of the oil. Due to the high content of α-pinene, δ-cadinene, α-muurolene and phytoncides, the oil has a powerful antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect. Application

Directions	Recommendations
Diffuser	Add 3-4 drops to a diffuser to create an atmosphere of peace, relieve stress and purify the air. Blends well with Bergamot, Cypress, Cassia, Jasmine, Juniper, Neroli, Frankincense, Clary Sage, Vetiver, or Rosemary. Use daily or in courses as needed.
Skin Application	Dilute 1-2 drops (face) or 4-5 drops (body) with 1 tsp carrier oil (such as doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil, 1-2%) and apply topically to soothe irritation, treat acne, or rejuvenate. For body massage, use 10-12 drops per 1 tsp carrier oil. Suitable for sensitive skin. Perform a patch test. Use occasionally or in courses.
