Clove Essential Oil by doTERRA is a highly concentrated oil with a warm, spicy, woody aroma and a light note of freshness, obtained from the buds of the clove tree by steam distillation. The main component is eugenol (up to 85%) – it provides a powerful antiseptic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Clove oil supports the health of the cardiovascular system, promotes oral hygiene, stimulates blood circulation and strengthens the immune system. It is effective for toothache, skin infections, fungal lesions and for the care of mature skin. Due to its warming properties, the oil is ideal for warming massage, but requires careful use due to the high concentration of active substances.

Application

How to use	Recommendations
Diffuser	Add 3-4 drops to a diffuser to disinfect the air and increase mental activity. Combines with orange, cinnamon or lavender oils. Use with caution due to the intense aroma. Apply daily or in courses, as needed.
Applying to skin	Dilute 1-2 drops with 3-5 drops of fractionated coconut oil (or other base oil, concentration up to 0.5%) and apply pointwise to affected areas of skin (for example, with acne, fungus) or for a warming massage. For oral care, add 1 drop to 60 ml of water for rinsing or to a portion of toothpaste. Conduct a sensitivity test. Apply occasionally or in courses.
Cosmetics	Used pointwise in acne, fungal infections and inflammation products. Not suitable for sensitive skin. Dosage: 1 drop per 10 ml of base oil.
Sprays	Used in antiseptic and repellent sprays for rooms and fabrics. Dosage: 2-3 drops per 100 ml of water. Goes well with citrus and mint.
Bath / Inhalation	Baths are not recommended due to the high risk of skin irritation. For inhalation, use 1 drop in steam inhalations for sore throat or colds, with caution, no more than 1-2 times a day.
Internal use	Place 1-2 drops in a VEGGIE CAPS vegetable capsule, 1 tsp. honey or 120 ml of drink (soy/rice milk) to support the cardiovascular system. Use 1-3 times a day, daily or in courses. Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
