Guaiacwood essential oil is a thick and rich oil with a deep woody-resinous aroma and soft sweet notes. It is obtained from the heartwood of the Bulnesia sarmientoi tree, which grows in Paraguay. The oil is known for its calming, anti-inflammatory and healing properties. It is used in aromatherapy, cosmetics and massage mixtures, especially in the care of mature, dry and sensitive skin.
