Lemongrass (or lemon sorghum) is a tall, perennial plant. It has a subtle citrus aroma and is used in Asian cuisine for soups, teas, curries, fish and seafood dishes. doTerra Lemongrass Essential Oil is a tonic oil with a bright, lemony-herbal aroma, obtained from the leaves of Cymbopogon flexuosus or C. citratus by steam distillation. In addition to its unique aroma, lemongrass oil promotes good digestion and tones all body systems when taken internally. When applied externally, lemongrass oil perfectly tones the skin, so it is often used in cosmetics, especially for the care of flabby and saggy skin. Contains citral, geranial and neral, which provide antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and drainage properties. The oil is effective for the care of oily skin, relieving muscle tension, improving mood and supporting digestion. The CPTG® standard product is suitable for aromatherapy, cosmetics and limited culinary use. It has a multifaceted tonic effect: it improves mood, improves thinking, concentration and memory, increases muscle performance and reaction speed, restores skin elasticity. Lemongrass essential oil promotes faster skin recovery in case of various skin lesions. It is especially effective in solving acne problems: it cleanses, removes toxins, soothes, maintains skin elasticity and regeneration, moisturizes, and helps normalize lymph flow. Due to its normalizing effect on lipid metabolism, lemongrass oil is popular for cellulite prevention and is widely used in anti-cellulite programs. Lemongrass is an ideal oil for massage and rubbing joints, helps in case of muscle tension. Lemongrass oil is good for everyone who is involved in sports and fitness, for everyone whose work is associated with heavy physical labor. Lemongrass has a tart, herbaceous aroma that sharpens the senses and promotes a positive mood.
